Speed Ramping

For today's lesson we were set the task of doing speed ramp effect. Speed ramp process happens during the editing process. Editing was done in Final Cut Pro. To do the speed ramp effect, load a file clip onto the timeline. Select the speed tool which is found on the right hand side of Final Cut Pro, then select the Toggle Clip Keyframes which is found on the bottom left corner. Then boxes will appear under the clip, select the parts in where you the speed ramp to take effect and either slide the blue icons left or right to speed up or slow down the video, then render to view the clip.
